Probate means the copy of a Will certified under the seal of a court of competent jurisdiction with a grant of administration to the estate of the testator.

Letters of Admisnistration means where a testator dies leaving a will but naming no executor at all, or leaving an executor who refuses to act or is incapable of performing his duties as such, in such a case, the will may be proved and letters of administration, with a copy of the will annexed, may be granted to any person who would be entitled to administer the estate of the deceased in case of intestacy.
